Default GSR Center Console in EF

Everyone has there own way of doing it.
These are my instructions.
I don't really know the actual terms to some of the parts, so I made up my own.
If you know the terms than correct me.

I found it waaay easier to install the console with the front seats removed.
Just take em out for the mean time...

Enjoy!

Remove the lower portion of the "civic dash/center console".
On the bottom of the "Instrument Panel Frame Cover" are two tabs with screw holes.
There is one tab on each side.
You'll need to use those tabs to connect your GSR console.
Measure the length and height of each tab.
Line up the "GSR center console" to the "instrument panel frame."
Mark your measurements onto the GSR console.
Drill holes through the marks on the GSR Console.
Then bolt it on.
If you want to make it sturdier place screw clips over the tabs.
Then screw on the front portion of the gsr console.

For the arm rest, you need to use the "Bracket/Brake Line Hold" from the GSR and remove the one from the civic. The GSR "Bracket/Brake Line Hold" only bolts down with one screw.
So bolt it down tight, but be carefull not to strip the screw or the treads on the body.

Then measure the height and distance of the holes on the "Bracket/Brake Line Hold" from the floor and the rear seats.
The floor =(height) rear seats =(length).
You will need to measure so that you correctly estimate where the "Bracket/Brake Line Hold" holes are located.
Place the "Arm Rest" over the GSR "Bracket/Brake Line Hold."
Connect the two portions of the GSR Console.
Mark your measurements onto the GSR console then drill holes through the marks.
Be sure to use a drill bit that is the same size as the holes on the bracket.

Once you've drilled the holes bolt down the arm rest.

In the center of the gsr console you'll need a strip of metal size 1 inch by 3 inch by 1/4 inch thick.
Once you get the metal, place it underneath the holes of the GSR console and mark the holes onto the metal.
Drill holes through the marks on the metal.
Place the metal in between the civic and the gsr console then bolt on.
If i'm correct, you may need to use longer screw than the ones from the OEM Civic console.

Then your done.

Note: We all know that he GSR Console wasn't made for the civic so things don't line up
that well. With my instructions you may be able to line it up as close as possible.
Also, the reason for the 1 inch by 3 inch by 1/4 inch thick piece of metal is to hold up the
center portion the the gsr console. Otherwise it would brake with any pressure.
There is a seperate tech for the wiring of the lighter. Once I find it, I'll post the link to it.

Good luck...

Forgot one thing.
You need to drill holes through the upper portion of the center console.
Basically the piece that runs length wise above the ashtray and lighter.
You can see the screws on the photos.
Your gonna need to screw it into the "Instrument Panel Frame."
The last two pictures are of my car. The first one im not sure who took it.
But its a good example.
