How do you tell if a honda B-series Transmission is LSD???

How do you tell if a honda B-series Transmission is LSD???
I heard If you jack a B-series honda up and you spin the tire if both tires spin its LSD, is this true?? I have a S1 tranny in my teg and when i spin the wheel only that wheel spins, and i know its not LSD... Thanks

Hmm.... The transmission that im tryin to figure out is a S80 out of a 96 GSR, and the guy who owns it says a guy he got it off of put the LSD in it..

I believe the theory is that if both tires turn in the same direction it has an LSD, if they turn opposite directions it has an open diff. There are much better ways of telling, but it requires pulling an axle and taking a look inside to see if there's a diff pin or not.

OK.. thanks, thats what i thought if both wheels turn the same direction, but this S80 tranny dont they spin opposite and the guy clams they guy he got it off of put the LSD in it. DO you know why on my tranny only the wheel you spin turns? thanks

If you have both axles out of the tranny then just look through the axle shaft. If you can see straight through then it's LSD. If there is a big differential pin, like stated earlier, it's not LSD. There you go. Now take some LSD. lol
