How do I remove the Crankshaft Pulley???
I have an 89 honda accord and I am trying to remove the crankshaft pulley. Does anyone know if the crankshaft pulley bolt is reversed threaded? I am unable to break the bolt loose.

Definately the easiest way is with an impact gun.
I don't understand why more pople don't have air tools... They aren't very expensive.

Re: How do I remove the Crankshaft Pulley??? (rotten)
noooooooo nooooooo take off the dust shield thingy on the bottom of the trannie and take a 10mm bolt and a wrench, the put the wrench between the bolt and flywheel and use another 10mm to tighten the bolt and the wrench and is bolted on there will keep the flywheel from spinning

Impact gun was the only way i could get mine off. I broke 2 breaker bars and i bent pipe trying to get it off. I hit it with the impact for 20min and it finally came loose.
