Default How Can a P28 ECU Detect a Bad Cat

I'm running Kenji's P28 ECU along with a Carsound's problematic 2.5" cat. I ran the stock ITR ECU for a month and I didn't have any issues with the cat. Now that I'm on the P28, how will I know if my cat's gone bad if the P28 doesn't use the secondary O2 sensor?
