Default Good wide band o2 sensor...looking at LM-1 and M300

I searched and searched but was unable to locate a good explaination as to why some choose between these wide band o2 sensors (or others, I assume that these are the two chosen predominantly because they are decent sensors at affordable prices). I also read the faq's and found nothing. Just would like to know a couple of things from those who use wide band o2 sensors.

Which sensor?

Why (advantages, disadvantages, price)?

Where did you purchase it?

I am looking to learn how to tune, first on my upcomming b16 n/a setup (prolly will use crome), because I don't want to blow up my turbo setup (on aem). TIA.

I use zeitronix; you do have to have a laptop to use it unless you buy the display; but for the money, its the best choice.
Data logging is included.
It uses the bosch( vw) o2 sensor, which is the cheaper one( around $40); they say the bosh sensor sucks, but i have had it in the car for a while and still responds like new.

I went with the PLX M-300

I got it from a vendor here on HT for $299 shipped. I went with this one because all I really needed was a controller with a display. I’m using Uberdata which has datalogging built in so I wasn’t looking for extra software.

I was thinking about the Zeitronix because the price was in my budget but then I found out the display was extra and then I found out there were some compatibility issues with Uberdata, so I dropped it from my search. The compatibility issues are probably cleared up by now though.

the best WBo2 that I have used is the Innovate Technologies WBo2

You can get a RPM pickup and record your fuel maps for a specific amount of time. It works great for tuning and is extremely simple to use. It also uses a VW Bosch o2 sensor for price value and is a handheld unit so there is no need for a laptop.

Sounds like a nice unit, however no laptop is not a selling point as I will need (and already have) a laptop to tune my aem (when I feel comfortable doing so) and change the calibration files in it as well so I don't really care if it has a display or not. Thanks for the suggestion tho.

The Innovate unit is also capable of using a laptop interface.....I just choose not to use it while I am doing any sort of street tuning. If I am on the dyno I use the Dyno's WBo2 system for the most precise comparison.
