Default Emission help with JDM motor Type R motor in 99 EK

I have a 99 Civic EK with a 98+JDM B18C type R motor. I need to pass Emission in Mass and they use the OBDII port to pass cars. The car right now is running on Hondata S300. I have searched around but didn't find my exact answer. My thinking is that I have a P2T ECu and I can do the CFK bypass http://technet.ff-squad.com/ckftrick.htm and just use that to drive the car to get the ECU ready and then get my sticker and then revert back.

My question is will I run into any issues by doing this?

Just have them do the OBD-I test.

I am in a similar boat as you. I currently have a jdm ITR b18c w/ obdI hondata ECU. I'm in NY and would like to make my car pass legally for emissions.
I was under the assumption that i could do the CFK bypass, reinstall my knock sensor (or do the KS bypass) and install a cat and my 2nd 02 sensor.
Question is will a civic SI ecu run a jdm b18c itr properly?

Is the P72-013 ecu compatible (enough for inspection) for that engine? I thought it was obd2? I could be wrong, of course, even still not sure how you could put that on your harness. I know the P72-013 is B18C, but not the ITR, just wondering if anyone knew if it would suffice as an option to help you guys out.

Sorry for the late response. I did get a pass on emissions by using a em1 ECU and doing the CFK trick. On top of that I had to run a wire to the vtec oil pressor sensor to the ECU. In MA they just connect the OBD2 reader and as long as it doesn't have a check engine light you'll pass. Hope this helps. I ran the em1 ECU for about 50 miles and then went to the inspection site, never driving it hard.
