Default Distributorless igniton with stock ECU / IgnitionLink

I would like to get rid of my distributor, but i don't want to buy a Motec, Electromotive or some other standalone which support individual coils.

I've just bought my Apex'i Power FC and J&S Safeguard and i don't want to go an other route now. Therefore the solution i am looking for should be also useable with the stock ECU.

The problem with the stock ECU and the DIS-4 (or similar) is that the ECU has only 1 output to trigger the distributor. But the DIS-4 wants each channel to be triggered separately.

This is where the Demultiplexer comes into play:

I know this is not complete but that's my basic idea.

For the one's who are not familar with connection diagrams, here is a discription:

First, the "electronic box" needs to be synced for the first cylinder, then when the first impuls from the ECU comes, the box demuliplex it to channel 1, when the next impuls comes it goes to channel 3, 4, 2 and back to 1.

Could this work or am i totally wrong how the DIS-4 has to be triggered? or ?

Another cheap options seems to be the IgnitionLink:

Has anyone ever used this unit? When i use the IgnitionLink together with the Power FC, the Power FC would became just a fuel controller?

The IgnitionLink also have an active knock retard (with 2 knock sensors) so it is more than an alternative to the Safeguard?

Another option would be the HPX Distributorless Ignition System.

How does it work? The ECU don't tell the HPX when to fire?
