Default How do I know that I have either a GS-R or Type R cylinder head?

I've read up on the GSR and type-r, my GSR block says b18c1, but, everytime I put my foot on the accelerator it spins out and i am not new at stickshift or 170 hp, i've owned one before. Is it possible i have a type-R head? compared to the last GSR i had this one has more acceleration and power. if it is possible how do i find out?

Look at the head code, if it says PR-3 then it's POSSIBLE you have a Type-R head. It could be a B16 head that someone swapped on though. If it says P72 then it's the stock GSR head. The head code is located near the exhaust ports on the head.
