Car will not start.. numerous things tried
This first happened when I was first driving. The car dies on me in the middle of the road. I knew it was the coil, so I replaced it and headed to my destination with no other problems. When I started to head back home, the car began to give me some starting problems. It didn't wanna crank. But after about 3 times, it would crank and run fine. As soon as I got back home from vacation, the car dies in the driveway, and that is where it has sat every since. These are things I have tried or replaced trying to resolve this problem.
Changed : coil, ignitor, plugs, plug wires, cap, rotor, main relay
Swapped whole distributor with a running Si's
checked fuses
checked all grounds
Checked cam, crank, and ignition timing
checked injectors with a noid light and multimeter. Pulsing like they should.
It's getting spark and the plugs are wet with gas
Fuel rail pressurizes to 40 psi
compression checks out at 178 across the board
reinstalled new maps from AEM
even talked to AEM to verify my box was in good condition
turned down the RAW fuel from 50 to 38, thinking maybe the injectors were flooding out the plugs....
Nothing seems to be working. Any help would be appreciated. Here is my setup.
99 Si
9.5:1/Eagle H-beams
GSR Cams
AEM EMS
AEM FPR (set to 40)
Walbro 255
RC550's Sat.
Precision SC61
RevHard Mani
Tial 38mm
2 1/2" open downpipe

Yes, the car is getting spark. I can't plug to stock ECU in because it will not start the car with 550's
