Car died help me!!!
94 civic cx hatch.. D15b Turbo i was going up a hill and put put it died.
We dont think that it is a fuel problem we think its a spark problem, If you were to take out the sparkplug wires out of the head and start your car would you see a spark?

If you take the plugs and leave the wires out they will spark while you crank the engine as long as the ignition system is in good shape. If there is no spark, that means the ignition system failed.
There are many things that will cause the car to die, though. Is your alternator ok? If not, that would cause it. Timing belt? even if it didn't snap, it could be worn to the point where an excessive load would cause it to slip on the cam gear(s) which would cause the timing to be thrown off, then your engine wouldn't run. It could also be the result of a severe headgasket blowout. All of these are things to check into.

Re: Car died help me!!! (voiceinurhead05)
K thanks ill keep this topic up because I wont know if its fixed till i go back home ...Headgasket really seems like it could be the problem becuase of the fact that i floored it in second gear and at around 3-4 rpm it was done for.

are you sure its not fuel what is your fuel pressure to check you ingnition system quick take your plug wires out insert a spark plug and place it next to a good ground and have your buddy crank the engine while you watch for the spark plug too arc or you could stick your finger in there instead of the plug but i would go with my first tip haha just playing if nothing works test your compression across all cylinders and compare them that test can give alot of information and also a leak down test put thats a little more in depth.
