Default Bad transmission solenoids or something else?

I have a 98 2.3 acura cl auto. It has 188,000 miles and Ive only had a problem with the throttle position sensor. Its still bad but im working on it. First off its totally stock. I haven't driven it in a day and the temp was 21 degrees today. I warmed the car up for 15 minutes and took it for a spin. I started to notice that in 3rd gear my car slows down and bogs. I took my foot off the gas and pressed the gas lightly. It sputtered and straighten it self out. Now im back to normal. Me being worried i turned around and went home. When i got a block from my house i stopped at the stop sign and tried to accelerate hard. The car said no, lol and sputtered. I sputtered half way down the block until i took my foot off and applied lightly again. The car straighten up again and i made it home.

Has anyone had this problem?
Could it be the weather?
Solenoids maybe?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Doesn't sound like anything tranny related to me. I would think a tranny problem would show up as slipping or shifting problems. Sounds more like an ignition or fuel problem maybe. Any CEL?
