Need Help Asap
My b20v was running fine until my crankshaft fell off didn't know until I got home and checked what hit under the car and saw that the crankshaft was missing. So I had a friend put a crankshaft back on from a gsr because I had to go work. When I got home to start the car car won't start so pulled the crankshaft back off and the woodruff key for crankshaft came out and I notice another woodruff key fall out. And I thought that was weird so then I check the crank sprocket and sure enough the crank sprocket woodruff key was missing and all this time I been cranking it. So I then put everything back in place and still car won't start but will start when holding gas pedal down and once I let go the gas pedal car dies out and I start it again while holding gas pedal down starts but dies when letting gas pedal go. Need help asap honda friends want to get this thing running asap!! Everything is timed correctly took my time putting it back on double checked everything. Is it possible that I bent some valves but doesn't sound like it when I hold gas pedal down and start it?

I'm I assume you mean your crank pulley, not your crankshaft. If this is the case, are you sure you are timed correctly if you are using a different pulley now? Do a leak down test and see if you damaged anything in the head, but if it runs fine when you give it throttle but won't idle on its own I would check the timing and then any sensors in the area where the belt or pulley coming off may have struck/hit and damaged.

very hard to understand...

it sounds as if the crank pulley fell off, and when the new one was put on and inspection done the key for the crank timing sprocket was also missing (which also means the washer that holds it in behind the lower timing cover is missing too), and you have been cranking it with the crankshaft and lower timing sprocket NOT spinning together....

I would go ahead and pull the timing belt and cams and do a leak down, if that is good reset timing with all your missing parts put back in...if the leakdown is bad you probably bent a bunch of valves.

So many misused part names here, you can't blame that on your phone.
