Axle Assembly - Inboard Shaft Bearings/Spider
A friend of mine had his drivers side axle replaced on his 94 Integra. Days later, he mentions to me that he experiences vibration in the steering wheel upon acceleration. I offer to take a look at it. Whoever did the work did not get the axle snapped into the intermediate shaft completely, causing it to wobble when spinning and possibly seperate itself from the inboard spider assembly.
What I'm curious about is - How important is it to have each bearing of the spider assembly marked when seperating the inboard drive from the drive shaft? Does it really matter how they match up when putting the drive over the bearings and spider?
