Icon2 Super Blue Brake Fluid OK?

I'm going to flush my Ford F350 Truck with ATE Super Blue Brake Fluid and wanted to also use in my 2003 Honda Odyssey.

The Honda Owner's Manual states "Always use Honda Heavy Duty Brake Fluid DOT 3. ... the use of any non-Honda brake fluid can cause corrosion and decrease the life of the system. Have the brake system flushed and refilled with Honda Heavy Duty Brake Fluid DOT 3 as soon as possible".

Is using Super Blue ok to use? I believe it is a better product with higher boiling points and like the blue tint to identify when I've flushed the old fluid out.

ATE superblue is safe to use in honda brake systems. It is often used by auto-x and roadrace people.

I've been using it in my car for about 5yrs now.

What you have to avoid is dot 5 which is silicone based and *can* damage a honda brake system (which was designed for dot3/4).

I use the ATE super blue in all of my German cars for track and street.

It has also been in my DC Integra for about a year now. No problems.

Great stuff IMO
