rack end bushing
i am replacing my inner tie rods and i was told while the inner tie rod is out, is the easiest time to replace the rack end bushing. my question is does anyone recommend that i replace it? or would it be fine just replacing the inner tie rods?
btw my rack n pinion boot on both sides were torn. thats why im replacing the inner tie rod to be on the safe side

Re: rack end bushing
if the boot has been ripped, the bushing needs replacement...
one extra step after taking the inner tie rod off. getting the rack out is the hardest part. and i dont recommend trying to replace the bushing and tie rod with it off. it CAN be done, but its easier taking the whole rack out.
