Default Nsx Calipers

Alright so im pretty sure i know everything i need to know for this nsx caliper swap onto my 98 civic dx:
to 91-96 NSX (2pot)

Take the EX/Si knuckle (with bearing and hub) and bolt on the knuckles. Get the caliper mounting bracket, 23T, grinded 3.2mm off of the surface where it mounts to the knuckle. Get 1996 Prelude VTEC rotors re-drilled to fit the 4x100 hub. Take the 91-96 NSX caliper bodies, 23T GRINDED caliper mounting brackets, Prelude VTEC rotors, and ITR pads and swap them onto the Civic DX.

So my parts list so far is:
-nsx calipers
-itr caliper bracket
-re-drilled 96 prelude vtec rotors
-itr pads

I just have a few more questions:
1.will steel braided lines that were for a itr caliper work with nsx caliper?
2.when i bought my car it came with 94-01 integra brakes, so i dont know if ive got integra or ex knuckles in there, are they the same?
3.i read on this forum that fitting 15 inch rims over this setup all came down to your offset and spoke design, well i have 15inch rota slipstreams with a 40 offset and 6inche width, anybody by chance running these rims with nsx calipers?
4.also when redrilling rotors do you no longer need the whole where you put the small placement screw?

Thanks alot H-T

You don't have to use the 91-96 calipers, the 97-05 works just the same. Only difference is that the leading piston is supposedly 2mm smaller on the 97-05 calipers.

The brake line should bolt up just the same. From what I've seen, the banjo bolt is universal among late 80's through early 00 Honda's.

As for the wheels, I've seen 15's (particularly slipstreams and ITR's) mounted over NSX brakes. Whether or not you need spacers, I wouldn't know. I do know that my stock 16" wheels have lots of room in both diameter and offset if that helps at all.

The small brass rotor screw became useless after the car pulled off the assembly line.

Blazin Si is right on the money regarding the specs and dimensions of the 91-96 vs 97-05 front caliper comparison.

yes, both front knuckles share the same 10.3" front rotor.

applications for brake upgrades are classified as "DX" or "non-DX."

a. the DX comes from the factory with 9.5" 19mm front rotors

b. (non-DX) the larger integra/civic EX front knuckle stock with 10.3' 21mm front rotors

long story short, yes they are the same

the NSX caliper/11" front rotor upgrade also fits:

oem 15" honda/acura wheels

gsr fat-5ive's
99-00 civic Si
integra meshes
gsr blades
oem 15"/16" ITR wheels

Good info. Has it been verified that the 97+ has the smaller piston? I had bought a set of 91-96 and 97-05's calipers at the same time, but unfortunately forgot to measure for any differences before sending one of them back.
