Default Cracked Axle?

i hav a 94 prelude and everytime im making sharp turns slowly or making 3 pt turns i hear a clicking noise come out of my front left wheel well...a rookie mechanic told me that it was a cracked axle but i am not too sure bout that hoping someone can confirm..if it is in fact the case..how much would it cost to fix and what is the procedure to fix this? thanks

Default Re: Cracked Axle? (wilrock)

one of the CV boots ripped, spit out its guts, and now the bearing when put in stress from turning is making the noise.

Cost? 100 or so bucks for a remanufactured axel, and then an hour, if you know what your doing. 2 days if you don't have a clue
