lower ball joint rubbing against rotor.

lower ball joint rubbing against rotor.
The problem is that the lower ball joint is rubbing against the rotor.The more i lower the car the more it digs into the rotor.I changed the ball joint and still same problem, wondering if anyone ever experience this situation. Any info is great appriciated.

Never heard of this happening, and really I can't even picture how it could be happening. Can you take a picture of what's going on?

They did figure out the reason though. He was using a stoptech brake kit with extra thick rotors, and had his front suspension too soft. This allowed the front suspension to compress too much. This eventually allowed the lower control arm to pivot into the plain of the rotors.
How low is your car?
Do you have a front brake kit?
What is your spring rate?
What is your front sway-bar size?
Does it only rub when turning?

there should be a heat shield in between the ball joint and the rotor.... at least thats what my setup looks like...

thanx for the help guys, but i fixed it already. It turned out to be the lca, it was bent right where the ball joint falls into the lca. so i changed it, got the car aligned and its perfect now.
