So I got coil over springs. So my question is can i put these on with out a spring compressor? Or am i going to have to take them to some body. Cause I am a CHEAP *** when it comes to certain thing.

emt, you shouldnt need a spring compressor, just be careful taking off the factory spring (i would recommend a spring compressor for those) but the after market springs will not need one.

I wouldn't. Last thing I'd use is a spring compressor. Dangerous! What you do is take the top bolt off of the strut, the center strut bolt. Then Jack the car up, take the tire off, disconnect sway bar if you have, Disconnect the shock from the LCA, Disconnect the LCA from either the Hub or chassis, Done! Pull the strut and spring out, pull the spring off, put the new ones on, and installation is reverse of Uninstallation.

I've had Spring Compressors slip and shoot into the fender not 1" from my face. Its too easy to do it this way and be safe.

Hell I've even done it completely without a spring compressor and its not bad at all. Spring doesn't shoot like people claim. It just jumps and the bolt goes flying about 1-3"s away from the whole thing.

I have good stock EG Springs and Struts if anyone is interested. Forgot I had them.

Emt are you taking aparta stock spring and shock? if so you could rent compressor from must auto places for free.

i personally dont use them myself, ive done tons of hondas that way.. i think its eazy to do it like you said.
