Default do not EVER deal with ADDISON DANH aka ITZSLIM29

Do not, ever, deal with this low life scum.

I'm posting on this forum because this is where he claimed to have seen something I had posted for sale.

On June 19th he pre-paid for a set of work vs-xx + custom refinishing. He then picked the wheels up from me in early July, with no complaints.

Come September 20th, 2009, he then decides to file a "non authorized credit card transaction" claim against me, and is trying to take the money back, while keeping the wheels.

PayPal has made it clear that I don't really stand a chance at winning this dispute due to the fact that I don't have a tracking # (I don't know why I would ship to someone 20 miles from me..) so I want to give you guys a heads up as to what this little punk is trying to do out there.

His name is Addison Danh. He drives a black TSX.

This is his face book / myspace .. they were fairly easy to find

Addison K. Danh - Los Angeles, CA | Facebook

MySpace - www.myspace.com/87377696

When I decided to ask what the issue was, and why he decided to file a chargeback, he blocked my AIM screen name. I think that's sign enough.

Heads up to everyone.

Nope I did not have a receipt or bill of sale.. Guess I had too much faith in him?

It's shipping or cash from now on.. No exceptions.

Can't you get records of telephone calls, text messages, emails, etc., between you and him? There has got to be something indicating he agreed to purchase the rims and willingly gave you and charged his card? Didn't he pay YOU through his paypal account that HE has to log into?

If I were you, I would immediately gather as much documentation as possible and speak with a supervisor at paypal, not just the reps. I'm sure the rims were more than just a couple hundred dollars...If someone charged as much as I think he payed for the rims on my card, I would notice immediately and not wait a couple months before doing something about it. Just fight it...good luck!

I talked to a rep and he stated that even with my logged conversation of him AGREEING to price, item, etc and even location of exchange, the credit card company itself will not look at anything I have to say without tracking information. What I thought might help me is that I even sent a payment request that HE filled out.. It wasn't that he sent me money out of the blue. Guess that means nothing.

It's not PayPal that ends up screwing me, it's the buyer's credit card company. PayPal just bends over for the CC company because, well, $1 is still $1.

If that logic were correct, then the credit card company has to investigate because he is claiming fraud. He has to sign an agreement indicating under penalty of perjury that fraud was in fact committed. The credit card company will investigate. I know, I am dealing with someone that charged $300 worth of junk on one of my cards. He must've signed something right? But it doesn't make sense because anyone can go into any store, buy something on credit and they don't get a tracking number for that, but they do sign something. All I'm saying is do not deal with the reps. If what you are saying is true, talk to a supervisor, take it as high up as you need to. If he is lying, he is committing perjury and that means jail time for him...good luck man!

If you have proof, I would go so far as consulting with an attorney and getting this guy for perjury, libel, defamation of character, the works...that is in fact what he is doing. If he wants to play hardball, then let him have it.

Yeah I am definitely considering the option of consulting an attorney.. I don't know if I should wait until the verdict from his credit company comes in, or if I should be taking my actions right now before any decisions are made..

What I have logged is the explanation of what he wants, the price, agreement of price, what work he wanted done, and where to meet up. I also have several IMs of him while he was at the parking lot waiting for me, his away message logged stating that he was indeed picking up his wheels, and a few other things.. I even have conversations with him AFTER the purchase, and so on and so forth. I hope this gets me somewhere..

Thanks for the advice.

As far as finding the guy, that's well and dandy, but I'd rather be cleared of my name/money situation first if anything.

If it comes down to it that I am still liable for his fraud, then other options will be sought I suppose..

He actually paid me June 19th, and filed his claim on September 21st.. So it's been just over 90 days.. and somehow, PayPal was quick to take the money out of my PayPal account just in case I lose this dispute.

As for proving those are my wheels on his car, the only thing I would be able to do is provide pictures of the wheels when I had them, before/after refinishing.. I seriously doubt that's going to do the credit card company any good if they won't even look at my statements.
