1996 Civic EX Coupe w/Complete Mugen Exhaust $3700
Up for sale is my 1996 Civic EX coupe that was supposed to be a gift to my sister but instead purchased a new car. Chassis has about 160,000 miles. I put tons of money in the last month getting it as perfect as I could. It drives amazingly and guaranteed to last for a long time to come. Perfect first car or just a long term commuter. Original motor had bad pistons so it was just better in the long run to put a JDM D15B motor that has about 60,000 miles on it. Everything works exactly as it should including a/c, p/s, windows, sunroof, cruise, and everything else that's supposed to work from factory.
Pros:
CLEAN T[I]TLE
D15B motor with around 60000 miles (Swap was done professionally with no check engine light)
Full tune up was done with motor install including water pump, belts, spark plugs and cables, thermostat, and radiator hoses.
New air filter
a/c recharged and ice cold
Registration up to date with new plates
Smog passed on 6/6/2015
Knock sensor replaced
Alignment done 5/1/2015
Replaced sun visors with oem non ripped and clean
New Oem Front grill emblem replaced
New Oem shift ****
New oem shift boot
Replaced/fixed cigarette lighter
Replaced/fixed cup holder
Installed oem stereo and cassette player
New oem hood latch cable
New battery
New oem antenna
New front brake pads
Cons:
I will try and be as detailed as possible with every single issue
Small dents and scratches for being a 19 year old car.
Dent waves on passenger side visible from an angle.
Sun fade on roof next to sunroof.
Possible small leak but it might've just been from the recent oil change
Headliner had some rips that were repaired but noticeable. Not too bad and doesn't necessarily need to replaced.
Overall I'd give the car 7/10 inside and out.
I am asking $3,700 without the mugen exhaust.
