Changing the rod bearings is a pretty big task. If you dont know what your doing I would not recommend it, the clearances need to be almost dead on if not you'll either spin a rod bearing or have low oil pressure and the difference is like 2-3 thousandths.


I've done valve lash on a few motors but not on the K Ralph would be your man for that. if you pull the crank you cn take it to a machine shop and the can make sure its cool, ie check tolerances, manaflux it to check for cracks (which is very unlikely). see how much it would be for a stock k and go from there.

Taxi? I don't think so. My bike will not do so good on some of the uphill areas.
