Re: (B16CRXT)
good god! 5 days to tune. I know JD is the best of the best when it comes to hondas but it took him less than 2 hours to get mine done on the dyno.

Re: (RoadconeTuning)
Thats what I was thinking. If he cant get a steady A/F ratio and a base tune to get me to IA and back in, at the most, 1 day, something is not right. Here are his only reasons why it would take him longer than normal:
1. He is all K-series in every car he owns
2. All his cars are K-series are some form of FI
And above ALL
3. He has a packaging company across the street from his shop which is his full time job and which he owns. He told me this in his email earlier:
"I will not be able to work on your car during the day time, due to my responsibilities at the factory. . . Unfortunately, I am not able to work very fast. Again, this being my part-time business, I need to keep my focus on my primary, full-time business. I don't want you to have to go somewhere else, but I am just being realistic about what I can and can not do.
With the S300's SManager software and on the dyno, these are the tasks that I have to complete:
1. build the base calibration file and set-up the idle
2. steady state tune the partial throttle load points
3. set-up the waste gate and test it
4. wire in the boost control solenoid, set it up, and boost tune it
5. tune the full throttle load points."
Hopefully everything will hold together and everything will go well. I have to get the car COMPLETELY together by Saturday night. I have faith in The Guy, Justus, Oyo, Mike, and myself that we will get it done. Once we got to working this weekend, we got to busting ***. Above all, I hope my TIAL wastegate parts come in the mail before the end of the week. If not, I am screwed b/c I will not have a wastegate to use

Just ordered brembo blanks for all 4 corners. Looking for a good deal on some hawk hps pads for the front. Just gonna replace the rears with OEMs.

Re: (B16CRXT)
For Justin ( Just in damn case), does anyone have a 38mm TIAL w/ a 9lb or so spring in it that they would be willing to let me borrow for the tune and IA trip if my TIAL parts happen to not come in? If someone would come through here if I were to need it, they would be CLUTCH!
Not to be confused with "THE MAN"

Re: Oyo... (RoadconeTuning)
That was running lean due to less humidity and less outside temp. One of the first clean pulls we had done. Its down now to 12.1 -12.3! Im having a damn time with this injector cut and i cant get to 7200rpms without my injectors going to 0% Duty in the middle of the pull, sometimes at 3800, then at 5500, and then 2 pulls to 7353 and then a little pop and it cuts the duty % to 0. At 7200 the injectors are only at 68%. WTF We datalogged everything and no MIL. Just a little backfire pop sound from the wastegate then a fuel cut. And no it is not detnating. We had checked ignition plenty of times! Ign is at 21 degrees when it does it, also tried to add and take away degrees but no improvement! AANY IDEAS WOULD BE AWESOME!!!!!!

Will they fit on crx calipers? Don't I have to use new pads with new rotors to bed them in properly?
Who knows why the pad on the back side of the caliper would wear out any quicker than the front side?
Just sold the slips to Oscar. I'm rockin steelies again muFukas!

most simple 1 piston calipers are "floating" meaning that they have two "slider" bars that they slide on, sounds like you need to lubricate these.

Re: (AFAccord)
Anyone know what thread pitch the VC bolts are? M6x1.00??
Better yet, anyone know where I can pick up a thread repair kit for the M6x1.0 for less than $35?
**feel like I'm talking to myself here**

they are probably trashed up, just buy some new pins and lube them up with a TON of brake grease and make ure that the threads in the caliper and that the part the pin slides on is clean too...
another reason is that the caliper could be offset...

You try calling them and emailing them again? I would do that and in my email let them know that if you do not get a response, you are going to dispute the charges and plaster their name all across H-T!
Just called the company from which I ordered the TIAL wastegate parts, ImportEvolution.com, and they said they had to wait on the diaphragm from TIAL thats why it has taken longer than normal. Said my order was shipped out yesterday and shout be at the house tomorrow or Thursday by the latest
