Why are the front wings pure fiction?

Front wing looks almost like last year's just angled. I would expect there will be something across the top of the leading edge of the sidepod attaching to the cockpit. Most of the 2017 drawings have shown this. Who nose maybe the nub will be gone since this is just a cgi version.

LOL At the office we have a local application that runs and looks at lows moving up the coast, through a specific domain, and takes into account various factors within that domain. The output rates the likelihood of the low "bombing".
