B16a3 Vacuum line help
Alright so i have 94 del sol vtec with a b16a3
ive been having issues with my RPMs fluctuating, there was hoses that were just clossed off and other parts that didnt even have hoses, i seem to have gotten everything back in place and if i close off the nipple in the middle of the intake mannifold with my thumb, the rpms stop fluctuating. That was one of the parts that didnt have a hose, also ive looked at other intakes and behind the engine towrds the bottom center there is a hole where a pcv valve goes in? As you can see my car doesnt have anything and there is one last hose that is closed off that comes from the bottom. Id like to know exactly what parts are these, their functions and if they belong together. Thank you very much, i think these last things will solve the problems im having.

If everything is stock, you can go on Hondahookup's website and download the Service Manual. It'll have detailed diagrams of all the hose connections. RonJ has also been known to post the figures here.

Yeah, the Del Sol info is sparse. Fortunately the B-Series engine is used in several platforms. Just look up information for a OBDI b-series from the Civic and Integra manuals.

The hose you have in your hand in the first picture is #5. Your car is missing the valve itself (7), and the lower hose (4) which fits into the hole in the intake casting between cylinders 3 and 4, and possibly other parts of the system that is attached to the back of the engine below the manifold.
The hose in the second picture does not look stock.

Does this help?
Honda Automotive Parts
If you follow the hose in the second pic, does it run to the breather box? edit: mk found a better illustration.

Re: B16a3 Vacuum line help
Ok so the nipple on the middle of the manifold intake has a hose that leads to a pcv valve. That pcv valve leads to a grommet, which goes on the empty hole between the intake manifold and the engine block. That grommet is actually a hose also, honda made them as one piece. Then that leads to another nipple, which is on the chamber breather, and boom! Problem solved. Thank you all for your help that was a fast fix!
