FS: TL Sport Brembo Front Brake Conversion
This TL Sport Brembo front brake setup will fit any EF, DA, EG, EK, or DC with 5 lug.
If you are interested please read the thread completely and post any questions or comments.
Hi everyone. I'm selling my TL Sport Brembo front brake setup off my DC2. There is absolutely nothing wrong with these brakes. In fact I love them! They are definitely a plus up from my original setup (Spoon twin-block calipers). Believe it or not, TL Sport Calipers are the same size as the Brembo calipers that come on the EVO MR, WRX STi, and many other high-end cars.
I the only reason why I am selling my TL Sport front brake setup is because I need the money . And being that I have only bedded in a set of brake pads and tracked the setup once, everything is practically new. I assure you once I sell these brakes and get out of this bind I will definitely repeat this setup again .
Here are some pictures of my Spoon Caliper, ITR rotor, ITR brake pad vs. my TL Sport Brembo Caliper, two piece Fastbrakes rotor, and TL brake pad:
Spoon Caliper vs. Brembo Caliper (actual Brembo calipers being sold are not scratched up the caliper in picture is for comparison only)
ITR 11" rotor vs. Custom Fastbrakes two piece 12.5" rotor (the larger two piece rotor is actually lighter than the ITR rotor)
ITR pad vs TL Sport pad
old setup vs. new setup (can you see the difference? )
The kit will come ready to be bolted in. It consists of the following parts:
1) TL Sports Brembo brake calipers, left and right, with timeserts installed so you can use 12mm mount bolts. Unmodified calipers require 14mm bolts. Without the timeserts you will have to drill out your knuckle which means you'll never be able to run a 12mm bolts again! :wow:
2) Fastbrakes two piece 12.5" rotors slotted with directional vanes, left and right, custom machined hats to center rotor in calipers.
Letting it all go for:
Complete setup = $1300 SHIPPED in lower 48 states
Bonus - I'll also throw in a set of Hawk Blue brake pads FOR FREE (not to be used for daily driving).
Thanks for viewing, please bump.

Re: FS: TL Sport Brembo Front Brake Conversion (ekx4)
it really depends on the design of the wheel. however, i know that there is a member, jonv, is running 16s with a similar setup.
