Default Suggestions on Tire storage for Hoosier A6's.

I don't have a garage or shed if i had any of these this question wouldn't have come up. any who, they say a heat cycle is a heat cycle, so if by chance i was to leave in out, and they had some sun exposure, that wouldn't be considered a heat cycle, right?

another question, what if i had them stored in a trash bag, but left outside?

is it okay to leave them out side if they are out of the sun at least?

The good news is that sun exposure is not considered a heat cycle.

The bad news is that you really need to store track tires properly. Toyo and Nitto have issued warnings about the possibility of track tires cracking if stored at below-freezing temperatures.

It's best to store them indoors, away from sunlight, at above-freezing temperatures. For most of us, that means in a garage or a basement, with enough heat that the temps are above freezing. You can put them in plastic bags if you want. (I don't bother.)

I would not leave them outside, in winter (when they can freeze) or the rest of the year (when they can accumulate rainwater). If you don't have a garage, basement, attic, or storage room where you can leave them, perhaps you have a friend or relative in the area who does and can allow you to keep them there.
