I want to have an 8 point cage made for my EG but I've gotten a price of $4-5k from 2 local shops. Is this normal? Anyone in the midwest less expensive?

^+1 Mine was around 4800 with the seats added. I'd imagine you could maybe get cheaper if you showed up with a completely stripped vehicle...

That is expensive, I had a full Chromoly 10pnt cage done in me EK for $2500. Buddy just got his 25.5 done for about 6k. Now I did pull all my stuff out for them but that is not a hard task.

My shell is stripped down to everything except the windshield and roof skin. Where did you go AZ?

Alexander Fabrication in Knoxville, MD. Lee is his name and he knows what he's doing.

Alexander Fabrication - Home

He caged my car and two of my friends' cars-- all Honda Challenge cars. He also does a lot of work with NASA Mid-Atlantic guys.

he does great work! If I didn't pick up Chads old car, he was going to put the cage in my Integra.

Just had a cage installed in my NASA TT4 Integra by Kontrolle Engineering near Sacramento. It has NASCAR bars tied to the rockers, straight dash bar that replaces the OEM column support, and triangulated footwell reinforcements.

On the convenience side, I can keep the OEM dash skin and put windows in from the bottom for transport and storage.
