Our Lemons team also is happy to fabricate vages for others, all TIG welded.
Look up "bad accident under caution at chicago lemons" to see our testing. The cage did not bend any. We are parting the car out soon.

He put in the cage on my rally Civic. Quick work (did it in less than a week) and a great price. Can do anything from drag cages, road race, to full on rally cages and does a whole bunch of fab work too (check out the Volvo rally car he build on his site).

Works by Wilson Engineering in Southport Queensland Australia. Does amazing work. Can do anything from carbon fiber to full engine builds and rollcages.

I have a question for you Southern California fabricators I had a cage done to my CRX out of chromoly steel and was tig welded very professionally but it was never normalized or heated up and allow to cool down so the welds could become strong and brittle. So do I need to do this or is this too extreme and how much or who know how to do this right.

Not CT, but just outside Boston MA there is Dent Sport Garage that works with Chris Howard. Chris and the guys at DSG build some serious race cars. They do a lot of local SCCA cars as well as hill climb and rally. They'll do anything from a basic MIG 4-pt to a full FIA rally cage thats TIG welded.

How is this done? Did they push the roll bar through the floor by cutting holes? I would like to know as I want my cage as close to the roof as possible but I do not want to remove the roof to weld the top sections.
