Vulcan Tire has the lowest prices, however they are perpetually on backorder for 205/50-15.
I ordered mine from Discount Tire Direct 2 years ago and was very pleased with their service.

Try edgeracing.com. I was searching around online for prices on Azenis for my friend's SE-R, and with shipping charges calculated (from FL to OH) they ended up being the cheapest. He got his Azenis from there, and I'm currently waiting on a set of Ziex 512s for my MR2 that I ordered late last week. Edge was cheaper than Discount Tire on those too, and thats considering the fact that Discount Tire's warehouse is in the same state I live in.

Discount Tire Direct ground shipping is free, but 15" Azenis are $74 each IIRC.

But have you calculated the cost of tires + shipping from Vulcan? It's not a huge difference.
And you don't need to buy their valve stems.

Yes but if you buy the tires from discount (whether it's online or at the location) doesn't that include mounting and balancing. I thought it did.
I remember after my azenis got sent to me (from vulcantire) I called discount to have them mounted and they said, "well, since you didn't get them from discount they will be 15$ a tire for mount/balance (standard fee).
So if I paid 308$ but got free mount/balance I would think that's a great deal.. Can anyone clear this up for me?

I just ordered them through Discount tire for $285 shipped to new york. They first told me $308 shipped I asked if they price match and they said yes, vulcan was $288 shipped for 205/50/15 they beat there price. Too bad Vulcan is on back order. never hurts to ask

Re: best place to get azenis??? (elgorey)
If anybody is in the Los Angeles area, I've got the phone number of a guy who says he can probably do less than 275$ per set for 15's if you pick them up. Maybe as low as $55 each if you buy 100 of them.
I think I paid 252$ shipped during the ford focus group buy thing that discount had. I'm guessing thats not happening again.

Re: best place to get azenis??? (GERM)
I don't know Phil's specific prices. But he has stated multiple times that he'd be as competitive as possible for HT racers.
Call and ask. It couldn't hurt.
And always remember that even if Phil is something small like $2 per tire more, you are supporting a fellow H-Ter and Honda (SCCA and ECHC) racer with that extra couple of bucks. And you're also getting fantastic customer service. Phil will not let you down when it comes to that.

I just ask my local tire shop if they can price match so-in-so's prices. Almost always they can or at least come close enough to make it worth my time.
