Synchrotech Carbon Synchros
Brass, Carbon-Coated and Full-Carbon Synchros
What do the racers prefer?
Feb 2010 Import Tuner Magazine article:
"I rev out to almost 11 grand in each gear," begins Tim Thomas, NYC-based Low Budget Racing's 9.6-second B-series Civic drag champ, "and it was just killing the stock synchros. They were failing every two or three passes." He continues, "I've gone over 20 passes on Synchrotech's carbon-fiber ones so far, and shifting at high rpm is way faster. If I blow a trans, I'll yank out the synchros and put them in the new trans-good as new!" Brian Kono, of Cypress, CA's After Hours Automotive, whose road-race EG recently won Honda Challenge's H2 class with the prototype full carbon-fiber synchros installed (and with Renan Bayar behind the wheel), concurs. "We log thousands of high-rpm, abusive shifts during each race weekend," he explains, "and the carbon synchros outperform OE in every way."

B series - H series - D series - K series - All Full Carbon lined synchros
Make sure you are getting Genuine Synchrotech Carbon Synchros!
Other brand B/H/D carbon synchros only come with a spray coating. We have tested several different carbon compounds side by side with the carbon/moly coated & brass synchros and the carbon lined synchros outperform in every way. We are happy to say that after years of research these new synchros are the best we have ever offered!

- New Carbon fiber lining – A full carbon lining instead of just a coating.
- Stronger Brass body - The Brass body has been upgraded to a stronger Japanese Brass composition
- Improved lock angle - The lock angle has been changed to aid in higher RPM shifts
- More surface contact - The inner carbon ridges have twice the surface contact (like putting bigger brakes on the gear)
- Stronger Bonding - Woven fiber mesh between the carbon and brass body for a stronger bond
- Improved oiling - Upgraded oiling grooves on the braking surface for better lubrication

Hey Guys,
PM Price for a s80 3rd gear synchros and ls 5th gear.
Also a full rebuild kit for s80 w/LS 5th gear.
Haven't decided which makes the most sense...shipped to 85260.
Tx

Re: Synchrotech Carbon Synchros
Hi,
I have road race dc2 with a ls/vtec setup. My 3th and 4th gear make noise on down shift and on hard cornering 4th gear pups out. Do I need only syncros? or a full sleeve set? Price?
Thanks,
Bolivar

Re: Synchrotech Carbon Synchros
I'm interested in a rebuilt kit for a M2Y4 I picked up.
I could also use some information on a gear that has a few teeth chipped.
Let me know price for with shipping to 95901
Thanks
