Sent you paypal payment just now. I meant to ask you while you were on the phone, if I could also buy an extra thing of the ARP lube. I guess it is too late to ask for it now, right?

I thought you use B18c1 studs
B16 studs are shorter then the b18 studs... both will work... but dont you want a stud that is for the b18c block and accounts for the deck height?
maybe im all washed up

The B18C1 Studs are .100 longer than the B16 so if you are using the B16 studs they are theoretically "more" correct. The GSR studs will work just fine on a B16 head but you will have an extra thread on top. You wouldn't want to use the B16s on a GSR since you would be "a thread in the hole".
Deck height and head height are two different things. You are indeed washed up

K, just curious...
So on a B18C block, there isnt more thread for the stud because of its slightly higher deck height over a b16?
I was comparing a LS head bolt to a B16 head bolt and they were much different in terms of amount of thread, also the LS is slightly longer then the B16 (besides the 2 really long ones on a LS motor)
I figured that the reason why it was SLIGHTLY longer and had a little more thread on it was not because of the head, but because of the block was slightly longer and had a little more room for thread.
Sorry Ive heard LOTS of people on this board say use B18C1 studs, hence my question. I just want the truth for future reference

For LS/VTEC with the B16 or GSR head, you can use the B18C studs just fine. There is only a 0.100" difference between the 2 stud sets with the GSR being a thread longer overall. Either way you won't go wrong. As a general rule, the studs follow the head. All in all, it is really a non-issue and we are just splitting hairs

Sent an IM, but to answer you directly: yes complete set with the nuts, bolts, washers. Thanks,
Tom
