Strongest filler to go on top of fiberglass?
Hi! I'm curious what the strongest filler is that I can add over fiberglass to reinforce a repair.. I have regular Bondo, Long Strand Fiberglass filler, and MetalFill. Which should I choose? Hoping to get this done today

Re: Strongest filler to go on top of fiberglass?
I actually am working on repairing some rust on a car, so I did all the prep very extensively, filled the hole with fiberglass , sanded it down, and was looking to place filler over top of it. Cost was an issue, that's why I had to resort to fiberglass. I actually decided I'd go with the fiberglass filler which I did and was pretty satisfied with the results on so far. I still need to put another layer or two on before I sand and primer, so if someone suggests using a different type of filler I may use that over top of the one layer of fiberglass filler I've already applied. Thank you!

zgrip is cheaper then the others and will work great... alternatives that evercoat has which are better products then zgrip.. called Rage or Rage gold, or Rage extreme... and their best filler.. Quantum1

If money is the issue you just wasted some by filling with fiberglass because eventually you are gonna have to do it again when it starts rusting again. You should of just saved up till you had the money to do it the right way the first time. I'm not trying to be a dick but it's the truth. But yeah the evercoat is nice and sands easily. Get some Polyester Glazing Putty to fill the sandscratches
