Damn thats hella work. Is it gonna be hard to put it back in w/o flexing or cracking? I personally wouldn't made the colors so loud, but otherwise it's pretty cool.

Did you glass directly on top of the factory foam?

Any concern over the glass cracking if/when the foam flexes (say someone presses on it)?

no its not going to crack. I actually dropped it befor I sprayed high build primer and I have man handled it around and it is solid. I was worried of the same thing you are talking about at first, but the foam the factory uses is different than say what you get at wallmart and it doesnt react with the resign. The foam is only 1/4" thick (just enough to soak up some resign) and I can press on it as hard as I want now and no worries. On places like the top where its flat and around the gauges I built it up with about 3 layers and around tight fitting places where it fits snug I only used a small amount of fiber. I usually build my fiberglass strong enought to stand on but I was trying to keep the weight down as much as possible (I only added about 5 pounds)
