Oak Staining my white CRV!
Hey everyone.
I purchased a white CRV last November, and just recently have started noticing blueish/purple dots all over the car. Here and there, there are blobs with actual streaking running down the car. I've tried using dish soap, and today I tried washing it with a turtle wax extreme tar/bug remover which did absolutely NOTHING.
I've noticed when I cut oak for firewood, my hands would turn this same color... I guess it's sap from the oak trees? My entire house/driveway is shaded with massive oaks so there's absolutely no way to NOT park under them. Don't have a garage either unfortunately.
My car looks like crap! I'm afraid it's actually stained the truck for good!?
Any ideas I can try? I've tried searching even on google and can't seem to find anything? Do I have some sort of freakish oaks?
