Default honda civic windshield help

hello my windshield on my project car is broken badly and i need to replace it. i bought a new/used one from a junkyard that takes it off for you. thing is how do i take it off?? like what tools do i need or can i use because i bought one of those flat pry bar things and it seems to be putting too much pressure on the windshield and lightly cracked it on the edge so how can i take it off?

Simple.
You need two screwdrivers.
Some very strong wire from your local hardware store.
Get a coat hanger cut it to about 6 inches in length.
Remove all the trim, take the coat hanger and pliers heat it up real hot to make a hole in the sealant, preferably in a corner.
Once you have a hole that goes into the car feed the wire through.
You'll need a suitable length of wire to cut the sealant.
Use the screwdrivers and wrap the wire on the shafts at each end of the wire to saw back and forth.
You might break some wire during this process but it will work.
Once your done flop that puppy outa there.
Dont remove any excess sealant from the car. Window shops will tell you to leave it in place and apply new sealant over the top of the old stuff.
Get the sealant from a windshield/ window shop. They should also sell you a small can of sealant primer to put on the old stuff before you apply the sealant.
Good luck

You dont need any special tools to suck it away from the car or put the new one in place
Id have a second set of hands out there in case . Just saw away with the wire!
