Headliner adhesive spray 3msuper90? yea or nay?
Hi I am redoing my headliner removed the headliner and vynil and left with this foam. I prepped the thing and I went to the store and bought the 3m super 77 spray. I just found out the Dam thing is bad and it sags after reading it in a lot of forums google etc. some people had ok with it but after reading a whole lot about it Im not willing to chance the super 77 spray .
Im still researching about some sprays. I found one site says the 3m 77 is good. and some says its no good. it says on the bottle not use for headliners. and not as good for hight temp. heat.
I used the 3m 77 on vynil material to wood before in my eg for the hatch cargo trunk area held good even in hot 100plus temp. im wondering how it will hold with a cotton fabric for a headliner? ive heard saggy stories online with it. fml.
yea or no for the super 90
I hear the super 90 is a better one but can bleed through.
Is the super 90 a good choice?
I checked the stores auto stores here and don't have adhesive specifically for headliners or the ones I see are the 77 or the super 90
please help me should I go super 90?
which adhesive should I use. I don't want to redo the thing anytime soon.
ive sanded and prepped the foam a long time. just waiting for a install with the custom fabric lol.
another guy used 3m super 80 spray but theres not a thing here where I at.
fml.
super 90? im leaning torwards the super 90 although I bought a stupid 3m77 spray can.
anyone?
