Default Can I use Meguiars Quik Detailer on New paint?

I got my car out of the body shop about a week ago and I am going to wash it this weekend for the first time since I got it back.

I know I can't wax for about a month or two but can I use detail spray?

Edit:
My front end was the only part of the car that was painted and the paint the body shop used was Glasurit two stage by BASF...if that helps.

Just don't apply any on the fresh painted panels. The fresh paint should be left alone to fully cure. I don't know what that stuff is, but it probably wouldn't do anything, why risk it though. Maybe its bodyshop safe for fresh paint, read the bottle.

Meguiars products are NOT body shop safe and should not be used on cars that have not fully cured. Their finish products contain significant oils that don't allow the paint to outgas fully and will lead to problems down the road. Do yourself a favor and just leave the paint the hell alone until it is fully cured.

ok...i wasn't planning on touching the new paint but was just curious to know if the detailer spray would do anything since its not a wax.

I believe your mostly Referring to the fact that most of Meguiars Over the counter products (Non mirror glaze/professional line) are not body shop safe/able to use on new paint. Practically all of there professional and mirror glaze line are body shop safe, minus the waxes and sealants of course. Meguiars Mirror Glaze #34 Final inspection is even suppose to be bodyshop safe and is a pretty good quick detailer.
