3.8 sec 0-60 on street tires all day
Suppose you want a car that clocks consistent 3.8 - 3.9 zero to sixty on street tires ... in real world conditions
Budget is $10-15k
The only catch is that the car must be reliable and do the mentioned 0-60 runs all day without breaking anything
Also, it must be a car, not a motorcycle.
What car would buy buy/build?
- C6 vette and 5.0 mustang both are low 4second stock and both are around $15k (if you shop around), but that doesn't leave any $ for mods. and without mods they will not hit under 4sec 0-60
- bmw 135i can be bought for under $15k and that does leave a little $ for mods
- a built bugeye subaru wrx could probably do it.. but it wouldn't run 0-60 all day without breaking something

the fun would only last one day though
how about a C5 vette with full bolt-ons and bfg drag radials. it may last more than one day
