SENSEN Brand Odyssey Struts and Shocks
I thought that I would share this experience as my first post.
I recently had to make a decision about which brand of struts and shocks to buy for my wife's 2004 Odyssey. While the van barely has 50K miles, driving it was like riding in an Italian gondola in Venice (not that I have ever been there, but you get the idea).
Considering the vehicle's age and mileage and my budget(!), I didn't want to spend too much money.
I found a brand name called SENSEN on eBay and gave it a try. Since I was going to do the job myself I bought their loaded struts which came with the strut, spring, and strut mount all ready to install. Having installed non-loaded struts before on other cars this seemed like a luxury that I could afford.
A few months later, these struts and shocks started gathering dust in my garage. I could never find the time to install them so I took it to a local garage. I dropped it off in the morning and before I could get through my email inbox at work, I got the call that they were done.
The shop had never heard of the SENSEN brand but said they look good and installed perfectly. I can attest that the van rides so much better now. It feels like it did when it was new. I highly recommend the SENSEN brand.
It looks like I won't need to buy another vehicle for a while after all!
