Replace stereo head unit in 95 Odyssey
I need to remove the factory-installed radio in my 95 odyssey. Some people say that the facia around the stereo and a/c just pops out. This site talks about a 98: http://www.handa-accessories.com/odyssey/98CD.pdf and says the whole lower dash including glove compartment must be removed. It is for a 1998 though.
I can't find the specific instructions for the 95. Can anyone tell me what needs to be removed to get to the stereo? The whole dash or just the facia or what? I've tried gently prying the facia but it doesn't seem to want to come. I don't want to break it.

Re: Replace stereo head unit in 95 Odyssey
I just did this 2 days ago, you have to drop the glove box there is 2 plastic wheel things that pop out on each end to git it to pop out on the left there is 2 screws to remove. there is two screws in the bottom pocket and below it on the oust side. on the drivers side there is 2 screws to to remove on the knee panel and there is one once tou drop that. Once all those screws are out you are able to pop the lower pocket part off. once off there is 4 screw 2 on each side where to cup holder is. once undone the cup holder comes out and there is 2 bolts you can get to on the bottom of the radio once undone the radio sides out.
