Honda Odyssey 96 Mirror Replacement
I am trying to replace my passenger side mirror on my 96 Honda Odyssey. How do you remove the mirror assembly?
It is not the model with the triangle base. It is the model with the oval shape base that is attached to the door.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

You're gonna have to take the interior door panel off.
The quick and dirty: There should be a screw/bolt at the bottom of the pocket that you grab to close the door with and a screw/bolt behind the door pull/inner lock handle. Chances are they'll be behind a little cover. Disconnect the inner lock handle from the lock rod. Give a solid jerk to the bottom of the door to detach the panel buttons (they go all the way across the bottom and up the sides) from the door. You should then be able to access the the mirror.
I don't know your specific model so, yours may defer slightly but, it's a good starting point.

Thanks! I got the panel off and found the bolts for the mirror. Unfortunately I broke off the clips of the door handle when I was taking of the panel. Now it is only being held by the screw and the handle is sticking. Oh well, solved one problem and created another.
Thanks for the help.
