Help Please. Cabin filters in a 2006 Pilot?
Hello,
I'm trying to check the cabin filters in a 2006 Pilot. I was able to find the filter, however, I am a bit perplexed as to how to get the filter out. There is a metal bar that runs across the bottom of the glove compartment as well as a plastic piece.
Am I overlooking a simple way to remove both of those bars?
thanks!

In a Junkyard near you.
sorry for you.
At the sides of the plastic piece you will see three or so holes in it. Starting from there cut the plastic piece off and throw it away. It's not needed. Then remove the 8mm bolt and the philips head screw from the right side of the bar. From there you can bend the bar down and out of the way or remove the screws from the left side (whichever you prefer), pop the cover off and replace the filter.
