Hello, I have a 2005 Honda Pilot 4wd with bad engine. I bought the car with bad engine. It will not turn over, no matter how hard you tray. So I was looking online that the 2005 Honda Odyssey has the same exact engine J35a6. Both Pilot engine and Odyssey are 3.5L 255 hp J35a6. The price of a Pilot engine is double the Odyssey. So I though I could save some money and get the Odyssey engine. Does anyone know the difference between the two engines? Could it be done? Has anyone actually attempted to do such a swap? Could you just drop the engine from the Odyssey into the Pilot without any Problems?
