Default 2004 Honda Odyssey - P0705/P1740

Hi all, first of all, this forum appears to be very helpful. I appreciate any insight some of you can offer.

I bought this van 3 days ago and my wife just called saying that the D was flashing. This is my first non-domestic vehicle so I had to look up what the flashing was about and found that I should have the codes pulled.

The codes pulled are P0705 and P1740. I did some research and found this very helpful post on the P1740 code.
https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-minivans-crossovers-trucks-80/04-odyssey-flashing-drive-light-2497831/

What I would like to know is if the P0705 code (Short In Transmission Range Switch Circuit) provides any additional meaning to the subject. I couldn't find much detail on that particular code. My hope is that if I were to repair the 4th Gear Pressure Switch it might clear up this other code.

Any help?

well the only thing i can tell u is that on the p0705 is that the connector to the range sensor switch on the trans got water in between the terminals or is faulty , it happens alot of times

on the p1740 is a 4th clutch pressure switch is faulty , very easy to replace if you remove some splash shields on the left side behind the front left wheel

these 2 codes are very common when water gets on that area , because it sits right next to the front left wheel , and going over puddles of water will set this 2 codes
