The car scene has gone downhill.

Fanboys stick to what everybody is doing: Drifting, photography, and bashing on Hondas.

Currently building a Honda just to **** everybody off.

Dont go to honda meets then. Im so tired of hearing people bitching about the cars not being "quality" I thought meets were about hanging out and talking with the people who share common interests.

exactly.. these arent car shows... if you wanna see a bunch of high quality cars go to one of them.. meets are for exactly what was stated above.. getting people together who share a common interest to hang out.

There's a vast difference between cars with the bandwagon trends and true enthusiasts. Some people common interests happen to be quality over quantity. That's not bitching and complaining

Well the fanboys hurt the scene for the enthusiast. Talking and hanging out with the undesirable cars makes the conversations terrible. That's why the enthusiast say what they do because people's cars reflect their personalities.

^That's the truth, and to not understand that is naive at best. I've had many more meaningful, educated conversations with people whom take pride in building their cars, and taking care of them as well.

Honda-tech spring meet will be enjoyable either way, getting to see some of the well done cars the nw has to offer. Saying you have to be at a car show to see a well executed car is so far off base it's almost laughable.

Ya I agree with you on this while its entertaining talking to fanboys and posers it does get tiresome I think that's half the reason I just hung out with my kids and wife by my car

I didnt mean for it to sound like you had to be at a car show to see a well executed car. I was just saying you cant really come to a meet expecting to get a ton of car show quality type of cars. Yea its nice if more high quality cars show up, but you cant expect that going into a meet. Otherwise you will almost always be let down by the turnout. Which is why i said if you wanna go see a bunch of super clean well executed cars, go to a car show. Im sure everybody would have a clean, badass car if they could afford it.

I take a lot of pride in building my car and taking care of it as well, although it easily may not seem like it. I have never put any money into the interior/exterior of my car because i didnt want it stolen while it was sitting in school parking lots or at apartment complexes for 3 yrs with well over 10k invested under the hood. Since it has been my only car, its driven 6/7 days a week and has seen its fair share of snow in the last 3 years lol. I would love for it to look as good as i want it, and it will soon now that im done with school. Would i say i have a clean well executed car? hell no. lol. Still needs a lot of work to get it where i want it. It sure would be clean as f*** though if i put half the money i have in my motor setup towards exterior/interior mods. I didnt even get a chance to wash my car before the meet, although i had sure planned on it. Didnt know i was going to be out till 5:30am with friends though.

I am sure however, a lot of these people (not all) with well executed cars also have something else that they can drive. Having a 2nd car makes it a lot easier to keep the other nice all the time.

Guess what im trying to say is, just because someones car isnt as nice as yours, or the next guys doesnt mean he doesnt take pride in his stuff. Maybe he has a good reason for it being the way it is ATM
