Nothing is ever completly reliable, but you could get a fairly decent setup for a grand. Not going to be the best, but you have to work out the bugs on any car. If most people cared about reliability they have another car or buy a semi-quick reliable car

Re: (Youlose1305)
Props to you for being that way, but a majority of the people envolved in the honda scene arent that way. People will talk **** if you dont have your car runing in a month or two, but for the most part people who take 6 months plus generally have and amazing setup that is extremly well thought out and put together

Re: (boost4fun)
I kinda feel the same way, doing it right the first time is better than doing it the easy way twice. I always imagined that if I was going to turbo the accord I'd get another motor to build up so it could handle higher boost.

Re: (stince)
Well, slapped a timing belt on the ol' 1.5 in the 4dr, and I'm having an ignition problem, I'm gonna look more into it tomorrow. I think she might be 180 out, but when I try to think about it in my head, It doesn't make sense. I'll figure it out tomorrow after work. I just wanna get the damn thing running so I can blow it up.

Re: (Youlose1305)
I figured it out after looking at pics here on H-T - JP, we ******* put the plug wires on one position counter clockwise - or at least I'm pretty damn sure of it. We're ******* retards.
And fox, you should let me steal the nitrous kit and blow up the 1.5 with it.
We tune using butt-dynos and leaf blowers.

Re: (Youlose1305)
depending on price, sell me whatever the hell you have, lol - I'm gonna need a B-Series cabble soon enough, and I don't really want an LS one.

If you havent found someone you might want to call honda and see if brian still works there. If he does he would build you one dirt cheap.

Re: (boost4fun)
wow there is alot of arguement going on here.. idk truth is u can piece together a turbo a kit for under a grand... but the problem i saw was the tuning i used was ****.. i would invest money into something nice like crome, uberdata, turboedit or even go with aem, hondata.. idk its very possible to make a your accord turbo'd and run well. and those f22's seem to have really strong walls and a decently low compression i would think u could do 8 psi daily.. and trust me u would see a world of difference... research how much u could piece a kit together for.. worst case u can't afford it. and then go to nitrous... idk if i would go saying a h22 isn't worth it.. but yeah they seem to hold their own in some cars.. **** u can use your tranny.. and mounts and everything basically to thorugh a h22 motor in it.. i guess prolly have to do some wiring... but idk i would save my money til u decide what u really want.. nothing says you have to spend it right away... anyone i need to save and go buy some cameras for the Beartooth Run.. anyone know where to get the car mount cameras??

Yeah, I think I'll eventually do a turbo, maybe start piecing it together and install in next winter. Has anyone seen a honda with a stacked IC like on diesel trucks? I know it wouldn't be quite as effective, but I'd rather do that and have some protection for the IC rather than sticking it in the bottom of the bumper, especially in montana. + sleeper look too I guess.

Theyre 15x6.5 and the tires have already been removed. I'd say theyre in 8.8/10 condition. A little rash on a couple, but nothing that cant be buffed or sanded out.
