Anyone have any painting and prep advice? I am attempting for the first time! Right now I just taped off most of the car and am using an orbital sander with 180 grit to get all the paint off.

If your not doing any body work then you have already done to much lol, if the existing coat is in good shape you can either sand and spray a sealer down and base, or base right over top of the existing coat after you sand the clear off, 180 is a bit coarse for anything but a high build sand able prime

Welp, we've been crack-a-lackin on the road race car for the chump series. DO NOT, get the wild idea about the F23 being the big block of the single cams and getting all romantic about it. I found out why nobody does this swap and you can't find info about it, this swap SUCKS in a Civic. Everything has been a bitch, everything. Right down to the stupid 4 wire Hitachi dizzy. Crank position sensors versus controlled through the dizzy, 2-wire versus 3-wire iacv, and on and on and on. Axle issues, no mounts. I see why only Accord guys do this swap. F22 to f23, easy peazy.

I know we're gonna get it in there, but we're having to make ALL the motor mounts, H stuff doesn't' accommodate the fact this engine came out of 98 odyssey van, this wasn't a prelude engine. ...lol... We'll get it, don't have a choice, but this ain't easy. Randon's J-swap was a LOT easier than this. Puts it in perspective.

Just sitting there, nothing connected, nothing fits, engine is to long, intake is smashed up against the brake lines, etc. Lot of fooling around for a single slam that goes 153hp. But that 150+ torque... I think we're gonna like that!!!

Drama...drama...drama... I'd say engine has been in and out maybe a dozen times so far. Maybe 2-3 dozen to go as we make the mounts.

everything rubs and hits everything else.

Go ahead and guess what's going on in this photo... *ugh*
