**STOLEN** Black 99 Civic Sedan DX 2/13/13
My buddy called me to tell me his car was stolen about 1hr ago from Oakridge mall.
99 Civic Sedan DX model. All stock D16y7. Black steelies, missing driver door panel, and the window on the driver side is effed up. Has beige tape on it.
Stock suspension, stock exhaust. Has a rattle when taking off from 1st, and horrible squeal when driving.
License Plate: 5YFF728

Recovered!!!
So... Car was stolen and parked across the street from where it was parked.
Ignition was jammed and alarm was cut. A fuse was pulled out also..
Other than that everything was in tact and nothing was missing..
Which is very very odd...
Beware that there might be thieves in training.. That's the only thing I can think of..

But it makes no sense to go through the work when they already popped the good to.see it was stock.
Wheels and suspension everything is stock.
Im thinking an initiation ritual or practice for a better car.
A friends acura integra was stolen and found within 24hrs. Same situation..
Who steals are car for fun? The penalty if caught don't outweigh the thrill maybe?
Idk... Keep a close eye on your.**** though... South San Jose is getting hit hard

Stolen again last night around 7-8pm from starbucks by home depot off capital expressway and 87.
