Default Wisconsin Machine Shops

Hey guys, I'm looking for a machine shop to do some work on my b18c1 engine. Need to bore/hone, press pistons on rods, and deck the head and block.

I only know of two. Performance Engine in Middleton, WI and C&S Performance in Butler, WI. Anyone ever get work done at any of those two? Are they any good and are their prices competitive? Let me know if you have any other suggestions. Thanks!

I'm not sure where you're at but if you're willing we use T&T in Gurnee (about 15 minutes over the IL/WI border) for our engines and they've always been good, also another reputable shop is MPG Highland Park (about 45 minutes)

Hope that helps

I grew up a few blocks away from c&s. They mostly do domestic engines. I know a few honda motors that have had the rotating assembly machined and balanced there. They do very nice work, my friend has a 450-500hp mustang they built that has taken a beating and keeps going...
